EVA is the only real reason to visit this eatery. However, the BBQ beef sandwiches are terrific and the slaw is the perfect foil. Sit and enjoy under one of their umbrella tables with one or more friends!

Sandwiches come in your CHOice of Beef, Ham or Pork.

The Lupe's Review:  Lupe's in Pico-Rivera was recently something of a disappointment. Upon placing my order, it was brought to my attention that the person taking my order had been working at Lupe's for more than 30 years! Now that is beyond notable, it's amazing! The often acclaimed carne asada tacos were mediocre and their chili burger quite ordinaire. I almost thought that maybe I came on a "bad" day, but no, the flavor of the taco meat and the zest and ummm factor of the chili just didn't show up at all. The restroom was unique indeed. The painted over, always partially opened window not only offered clearing ventilation but the space between the screen and the window itself was densely populated by a multitude of spiders which in all probability had been generationally there from day one. Really, it isn't a problem unless you're mildly arachnophobic and believe that they leap off their webs onto unsuspecting customers. I have yet to try the naCHOs.
